However, he tries to catch again but misses. The ball goes down but Bird manages to stick the ball between his legs before taking it in his hands. The third umpire has been called for. The soft signal is OUT. The third umpire checks a few angles and feels that there is nothing conclusive to overturn the on-field call. Will remain out.
