So, the inevitable has happened! The game has been called off without a ball being bowled! This was on the cards, especially after the amount of rain that was falling. You though can catch some T20I action as there is a good game going on between India and Sri Lanka. Also, another game of the 100 will start in sometime which is on a different ground so do join us for that. Till then, take care and goodbye!
It continues to rain out here and the wait continues! 1643 local is the cut off for a 25-ball game so we have our fingers crossed.
It is raining at Lord's at the moment and we are surely not going to start on time!

Match 5 of the 100 sees a clash between London and Oval! The former enter this game after losing their first game and the latter after winning it. London will be eager to get off the mark but Oval will want to make it two in two! The Oval are a lot stronger on papar so they are surely favourites heading into the game but London too have a lot of quality players.
The Men's Hundred is up and running as well and now the 5th match sees London Spirit Men face up against Oval Invincibles Men at Lord's. Both these teams have had a contrasting start to the tournament as London Spirit were beaten by Birmingham Phoenix in their opening game while Oval Invincibles defeated Manchester Originals in their opening game. London Spirit, with the help of Zak Crawley who scored 64 in just 40 balls helped them reach 144 in 100 balls. Apart from Crawley, there were not many contributions from the others and they would want to put up a better batting show. The bowling started well, as they picked up wickets at regular intervals but then Moeen Ali, Chris Benjamin and Benny Howell took Birmingham home in the end. They would want to get their first win on the board but it won't come easy against the Oval Invincibles. Oval Invincibles Men, on the other hand, are off to a terrific start in the tournament as they defeated Manchester Originals in their opening game and would like to continue the performance. Their batting was led by Sam Billings as he was the reason that they reached 145 in the first place after a poor start with the bat. The bowlers though were superb as they stopped a strong batting line-up of Manchester. Sam Curran, Sunil Narine, Tom Curran and Nathan Sowter gave a good account of themselves with the ball and were excellent in defending the total. Sam Billings was a happy captain and he would want his team to keep the winning momentum going. Will Oval Invincibles Men get their second win or will London Spirit Men get their first win on the board?
