So, that’s it from the first double-header of the PSL after resumption. Two really good games. Action continues on Friday. Just the one game as Islamabad take on the Gladiators. Do join us for it at 2130 IST. Till then, take care and goodbye!
Sohail Akhtar, Lahore skipper, says they had a bad start to the game as Peshawar bowled well but they need to work on that and they need to start off well as that would help them. States they do not want to tinker with the winning combination but they will do what is best for them.
Man of the Match, Rashid Khan, says he did not bowl well in the first over but he bowled bad lengths and he has that in his mind and he did not want to repeat it and get back to his actual line and length. States he loves bowling with the wet ball and he struggles when the ball is a little dry but it wasn’t very wet today and he tried his best and it went well.
Wahab Riaz, Peshawar skipper, says the start was really good but they should have finished it well. Adds they should have restricted them to 140 but they could not do that and credits Lahore for the way they played. Mentions he is pleased to have Malik in his side and he is doing the role given to him. States Rashid is a world class bowler and he made a difference despite going for 15 in his first over and feels they should have played him better. Ends by saying there’s a lot to learn from Inzamam and he hopes they can do so.
For Lahore, everybody except for Daniyal bowled well but Faulkner and Rashid have to be the pick. Faulkner did the job with the new ball and Rashid in the middle overs. The two took 7 out of the 8 to fall and that killed the game.
Chasing a big total, Peshawar needed a good start but they were two down in no time. Miller and Malik did try to steady the ship but Miller fell. Peshawar kept losing wickets and it was Malik who was fighting a lone battle. He did try his best but it was too much to ask for. Had he got support, the story could have well been different.
A strong win for Lahore in the end! 170 was way too much to be very honest. Peshawar probably lost the game when they let them score so many runs. David’s knock proves to be the difference between the two sides.

Shaheen Afridi to Umaid Asif ,A dot to end but Shaheen kicks the ball in disgust! He knows he hasn't bowled a good last over. The last nut is a good one though as he bowls a yorker outside off, it is jammed out towards the bowler. LAHORE WIN BY 10 RUNS!

Shaheen Afridi to Umaid Asif ,A dot and that is it! Lahore can't lose if Shaheen bowls a legal ball. This is quick. He did not like being hit for a biggie. Short and on the body, Umaid looks to pull but misses to get hit on the body. He does not take a run.
