Kishan is adamant to keep pulling and tries to drag it over the mid-wicket fence. Kishan is unable to control the shot and ends up hitting it high and towards deep mid-wicket. Mark Chapman takes an assured catch on the edge of the boundary and Milne is delighted.

Tim Southee to Rishabh Pant, FOUR! Ish Sodhi is left embarrassed as Rishabh Pant [ppicks up yet another boundary. Full and wide, Pant advances and slices it over backward point. Sodhi runs to his left and overruns the ball, allowing the boundary.

Tim Southee to Rishabh Pant, OUT! CAUGHT! Ish Sodhi redeems himself with an excellent grab and similarly to Ishan Kishan, Rishabh Pant too throws his wicket away. Tim Southee bangs this one in short and outside off. Pant backs away and tries to cut it over the point fence. The ball takes the top edge and flies down to third man. Sodhi comes in and dives forward to complete the catch. India lose two early wickets and New Zealand are right on top here.

Tim Southee to Shreyas Iyer, OUT! CAUGHT! Two in two for Tim Southee and Shreyas Iyer departs for a golden duck. Southee keeps it short and bowls it on a right line around off. Iyer's struggle with the short ball continues as he hops and looks to just guide it from too close to his body. Iyer ends up just pushing it to the right of first slip where James Neesham takes a sharp catch. Southee is now on a hat-trick.
