The five-time IPL champions have made a mess out of GT’s bowling unit, smashing 228/5, the highest score at the venue in Mullanpur.

However, it isn’t the highest-ever score in the playoffs, with Gujarat owning that record (233/3 vs MI in 2023). After winning the toss, MI made the most of the surface, with their former skipper Rohit Sharma smashing a 50-ball 81, with nine fours and four sixes.
