18-Year-Old Future CSK Star Slams Strokeful Ton In Buchi Babu Trophy 2025

The batter slammed 15 fours and four sixes in his innings to take his side to 384/9

8 matches, 5 fifties and 1 century - 18-year-old Andre Siddarth has already made a stunning start to his first-class career for Tamil Nadu. The 18-year-old has already amassed 612 runs in 12 innings at an impressive average of 68. Hence, it came as little surprise that he was picked up by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 auction and that too at his base price of INR 30 lakh.

The right-hander did not get a chance in the tournament, but in the ongoing second round of the Buchi Babu Trophy 2025, he slammed a strokeful century consisting of 15 fours and four sixes against Maharashtra at the Gojan Cricket Ground B in Tamil Nadu.

Turning up for the TNCA President's XI, Siddarth hit 111 off 142 deliveries to help his side to 384/9 at stumps on Day 1. He put on 144 for the third wicket with skipper Pradosh Ranjan Paul (76) after their side was reduced to 13/2.

Siddarth did not stop there; he also put on 73 off just 60 with Baba Indrajith (104), who also slammed a superb century.

The youngster scored just 24 and 8 in the previous round of the Buch Babu Trophy against Himachal Pradesh as the President's XI won by 196 runs.
