3 Batters from Andhra Premier League who can be signed by CSK and KKR for IPL 2026

The Andhra Premier League 2025 has ended with Tungabhadra Royals winning the championship, beating the Amaravathi Royals by five wickets, chasing a mammoth 195. The tournament was a great platform for Andhra to highlight its quality talent. A number of youngsters stepped up and performed. 

Here is a look at some of the breakout batters who can be signed by IPL teams like CSK and KKR for the 2026 edition 

Munnangi Abhinav (Vijayawada Sunshiners)

7 innings, 269 runs, 44.83 average, 138 SR, 3 fifties

Munnangi Abhinav was another young talent who made a great impression in APL 2025. The 20-year-old playing for Vijayawada scored 269 runs in seven games at an average of 44.83, maintaining a decent SR of 138 with three fifties. 

Opening the batting, Abhinav gave a good foundation for the Sunshiners and helped the team post big totals as all three fifties came while batting first. He finished the season as the third highest run scorer, catching the eye of IPL Scouts who will look for stable batters.  

Gutta Rohit (Tungabhadra Warriors)

7 innings, 223 runs, 31.86 average, 191 SR, 2 fifties

Gutta Rohit was a major part in the Warriors winning the Final as his match-winning 63 runs of 28 balls helped the team chase 195. He had a spectacular season as he scored 223 runs in seven innings at a superb strike rate of 191. He exploded in the middle overs (7-15), increasing the run rate. He took the spinners by smashing 13 sixes, maintaining a SR of 194.

With spin bashers of the likes of Rajat Patidar, Shivam Dube making a mark in IPL, the 23-year-old can fit that build and make a big impression in the biggest cricket tournament in the world.

Haneesh Veera Reddy (Simhadri Vizag Lions)

4 innings, 172 runs, 57.33 average, 156 SR, 1 century

Haneesh Veera Reddy was one of the few bright performers for Simhadri Vizag Lions, who had a horrible APL 202,5, managing to win only one game. That game was won due to Haneesh’s outstanding batting, as he became the only batter to smash a century in APL 2025. 

Playing only four games, Haneesh managed 172 runs at an average of 57.3, striking at 156. He took the pacers' head on, smashing 17 boundaries at 164 SR. With franchises looking to groom aggressive top-order batters, this 18-year-old left-hander can be signed by an IPL franchise as future prospect.
