3 DPL 2025 Bowlers IPL Teams Will Be Tracking Ahead Of IPL 2026 Auction

With the IPL 2026 auction on the horizon, franchises will be keeping a close watch on this year’s bowling talent, hoping to unearth the next breakout star

The second season of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2025 is set to begin on August 2 (Saturday), and this time, the spotlight will be firmly on the bowlers. The previous edition proved to be a goldmine for IPL scouts, especially with the emergence of Digvesh Rathi, who went on to have a sensational debut season with the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in IPL 2025.

With the IPL 2026 auction on the horizon, franchises will be keeping a close watch on this year’s bowling talent, hoping to unearth the next breakout star.

Here’s a look at three bowlers from DPL 2025 who are expected to be on every IPL scout’s radar:

Harsh Tyagi

Having already featured in 15 T20s, 23 List A matches, and 41 domestic T20s for Railways and Delhi, the left-arm spinner has established himself as an experienced campaigner. The 25-year-old recorded the best economy rate (6.9) among bowlers who bowled at least 20 overs in DPL 2024. He picked up 16 wickets at an average of 14.4 and will represent Outer Delhi Warriors in DPL 2025.

Siddhartha Solanki

The right-arm seamer featured in only five games for North Delhi Strikers in DPL 2024 but still managed to take 13 wickets at an average of 11.7. While Solanki did leak runs at an economy rate of 10.1, he compensated by taking a wicket every 6.9 deliveries - a strike rate no one could match.

Rajneesh Dadar

The right-arm pacer picked up 11 wickets in nine games at an economy of 8, despite bowling nearly 40 per cent of his total overs at the death. In the final phase of the innings, Dadar claimed five wickets at a remarkable economy of just 7. A reliable Indian death bowler is a rare commodity, and that’s exactly the kind of profile that will interest several IPL scouts.
