These players will likely have caught the eye of Mumbai Indians, as they are in need of a domestic keeper-batter who can possibly either replace Ryan Rickelton or further add to their depth.
Here are three keeper-batters that MI can target at the IPL 2026 auction.
6 innings, 207 runs, 34.5 average, 183 SR, 2 fifties
Srikar Bharat is having a good run in the domestic circuit over the last couple of years. The Andhra Stalwart had a good season of APL 2025, scoring 207 runs in six games at a superb 183 SR.
He did an excellent job at the top of the order, giving good starts while holding one end. He can be a good addition to the MI line up as they can replace Ryan Rickelton with him and allow themselves another overseas option. Bharat has prior experience in IPL as well, playing match winning knocks for RCB in IPL 2021.
4 innings, 150 runs, 50.0 average, 163 SR, 2 fifties
Ricky Bhui is another experienced keeper-batter from Andhra who has been consistent in domestic circuit over the last 3-4 years. He had a good edition in APL, scoring 150 runs at 163 SR in four games.
He batted at #4 and was terrific against spin, scoring at 156 SR. He thrashed the pacers in the slog overs at 172 SR, displaying his attacking batting. He most recently was a part of Delhi Capitals in IPL 2024. A return for him in IPL 2026 is possible if he maintains this good run with the bat.
5 innings, 151 runs, 30.2 average, 142 SR, 2 fifties
Revanth Reddy displayed his stability as a batter in the limited chances he got in APL 2025. He scored 151 runs at a decent SR of 142, with two nice fifties.
Opening the batting, he managed to stay long at crease and allowed other batters to go for big shots and increase the scoring rate. He smashed the pacers at 166 SR and cautiously negotiated the spinners.
With him just being 21-year-old, Mumbai Indians can groom a good wicket-keeper for the future by signing him at the IPL 2026 auction.
