Debuting in the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 season, he scored 783 runs, playing a major role in Vidarbha winning the championship. He scored 153 & 73 against Kerala in the Final.
Playing his first Duleep Trophy, the right-hander smashed a double century batting at #3 for Central Zone against North East Zone. With team India looking for a suitable #3 post Cheteshwar Pujara's retirement, Malewar can make a case for himself if he maintains his form.

Aryan Juyal is making all the right noise over the last couple of years. The 23-year-old wicket-keeping opening batter has displayed great consistency in First Class, scoring over 1500 runs since 2024.
He had a great Ranji Trophy last year, scoring 714 runs for UP with four centuries. He has started the Duleep Trophy 2025 on a good note as well, scoring 60 while opening the batting against the North East Zone. If he maintains the same consistency, he will make a great case for the opening slot, and his wicket-keeping skills will be an added bonus.

Kanhaiya Wadhawan is a 23-year-old wicket-keeper batter from Jammu & Kashmir. He debuted for J&K as an 18-year-old in the 2018 season but played only one game. He returned to the team in Ranji Trophy 2024-25, playing three games where he showcased his growth, scoring 286 runs with three fifties.
He was selected for the first time to represent the North Zone in the 2025 edition of the Duleep Trophy. He did a fantastic job in his first outing for the North Zone, scoring 76 runs and helping the team post a 400+ first innings total against East Zone, which consists of bowlers like Mohammed Shami and Mukesh Kumar.
