3 RCB Players To Keep An Eye On In The Hundred 2025

The Hundred, which began on August 5, features a wide range of players from the IPL

England and Wales Cricket Board’s top T20 franchise league, The Hundred, began recently on August 5, and features some of the best T20 talents in the world. Naturally, many players who are an integral part of the IPL are also participating in the ECB’s top drawer league.

With some of the IPL owners also having bought stakes in the Hundred teams, the interest in India is also growing. Let’s look at three such players from Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) who are a part of the Hundred this time:

Phil Salt (Manchester Originals)

Salt was one of the most important cogs in the wheel of the trophy-winning RCB outfit, which lifted the IPL in 2025. He gave them fiery starts and was the game-changer with the bat on many occasions. He had a massive strike rate of 175 in the season, and no one dared to raise a question on his INR 11.5 crore price tag.

He would be expected to perform a similar role for Manchester Originals, and the fans would be elated if he could show the same colours.

Jacob Bethell (Birmingham Phoenix)

Bethell might not have played many games for RCB in the 2025 season (just two games and 67 runs, including a half-century), but IPL fans were excited to see the big-hitting left-handed batter from England in India.

He will be playing for Birmingham Phoenix in the Hundred, and the fans will yet again have the opportunity to enjoy his swashbuckling stroke play, this time at his home in England.

Liam Livingstone (Birmingham Phoenix)

RCB bought Livingstone for INR 8.75 Crore; however, he proved to be a dud investment as the England player couldn’t make the most of the 10 opportunities he got in the season with either the bat or the ball.

As an experienced player for the Phoenix, Livingstone will have a lot of responsibility on him, and the RCB fans would be hoping that the ace all-rounder brings his A game to the Hundred.
