However, despite many of those records being within grasp or having already been triumphed over, like Virat Kohli's ODI centuries, quite a few seem improbable to ever be broken by anybody.

Most International Matches In Career 

Sachin has played 200 Test matches, 463 ODIs, and one solitary T20I game. No one has played more Test matches or ODIs than him, and naturally, he has played the most international matches in his career. In the modern era, playing these many matches is improbable because the number of franchise cricket matches has increased, and international calendars have become smaller. Also, Sachin had a more than 24-year career in international cricket. 

It’s almost impossible that this record will ever be broken. 

Most Runs In His Career 

Sachi has 34,357 runs in international cricket. The fact that no one can even dream of playing as many games as Sachin makes it improbable to ever be broken. However, Sachin averaged 53.78 in Test cricket and 44.83 in ODIs. So it’s not like anyone less than extraordinary can even dream of matching those standards.

Just like the previous record, breaking this will need someone to have an extraordinarily long career. 

Most Test Hundreds In A Career 

Sachin has 51 Test hundreds in a career that spanned 24 years and more than 200 Test matches. Only three Test nations play enough Test cricket to even consider it a major part of their calendar, and careers are rarely that long, making it a really improbable record. 

Think about this: 51 Test centuries? That already seems too daunting, doesn't it? So if someone has to break this record, they must be quite a serious talent, which is a rarity in Test cricket.
