3 TNPL Players Who Can Be Bought For Huge Sums At IPL 2026 Auction
Who will fetch the highest price at the auction?
With the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2025 set to reach its conclusion, we take a look at three players who could fetch massive sums in the next Indian Premier League (IPL) auction.
Sonu Yadav
It was a tournament to forget for Nellai Royal Kings but not for Sonu Yadav, who made an impact with 16 at 12.81 wickets in just seven matches in the tournament. The medium-pacer picked up at least one wicket in every game, with his best of 3/33 coming against IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans. He is no mug with the bat either, having smashed 133 runs at a strike rate of 133 in the tournament, having batted everywhere between five and eight.
Every IPL team needs a fast bowling all-rounder, and Sonu Yadav could very well bag a big contract next year.
Tushar Raheja
Wicketkeeper-batter Tushar Raheja has had a sensational tournament in TNPL 2025, and capping it off with the title for the Tiruppur Tamizhans would just make it perfect. The opening batter is just one of two players to have hit over 400 runs in the tournament, and also has the joint-most fifties (4). As a wicketkeeper who can open the batting, Raheja could be in high demand in the upcoming auction.
Shivam Singh
Shivam Singh has already got a taste of playing in the IPL when he turned up for a game for Punjab Kings (PBKS) in 2024. Another opening batter, with the ability to get his team off to a brisk start as he has done in the TNPL 2025 for finalists Dindigul Dragons, Shivam could very well be on his way to getting yet another IPL contract soon. The 29-year-old has been consistent every season since he made his debut in 2023, notching up over 1,000 runs at a strike rate of 138.
