4-0-6-2: Mustafizur Rahman Creates Bangladesh History With OUTRAGEOUS Spell vs Pakistan
The left-arm pacer conceded no boundaries and just six singles overall
One of the most outrageous T20 spells of the year was bowled today by Mustafizur Rahman in the first T20I against Pakistan in Mirpur as the Bangladesh talisman registered figures of 2/6 off the 4 overs he bowled. The extraordinary spell saw Mustafizur concede no boundaries, twos or threes: all six runs were singles which were spread across the four overs he bowled.
It is the most economical 4-over spell bowled by a Bangladeshi bowler in T20I history.

2/6 (E.R 1.50) - Mustafizur Rahman vs PAK in Mirpur, 2025
4/7 (E.R 1.75) - Tanzim Hasan Sakib vs NEP in St. Vincent, 2024
1/7 (E.R 1.75)- Rishad Hossain vs USA in Houston, 2024
3/7 (E.R 1.75) - Mustafizur Rahman vs NEP in St. Vincent, 2024
The fascinating part about Fizz’s spell is that he did not bowl a single maiden. He is only the second full-member bowler in T20I history to concede 6 runs or fewer in a 4-over spell without bowling a single maiden. Zimbabwe’s Christopher Mpofu is the only other full-member bowler to achieve this feat.
Mustafizur conceded only 6 runs despite bowling two overs at the death and one in the powerplay. He picked up the wickets of Hasan Nawaz and Khushdil Shah.
The left-armer’s efforts helped Bangladesh bowl Pakistan out for 110.
