Mumbai and Pune are likely to host the entire Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 matches between late March and end of May, according to a report by Cricbuzz.
Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium, Brabourne Stadium and DY Patil Stadium are set to host 55 matches of the tournament while Pune's MCA International stadium is set to host 15 matches.
Teams are likely to play four games each at Wankhede and DY Patil and three each at Brabourne and MCA International.
According to the report, the organizers have zeroed in on March 26 and March 27 as the starting dates for the tournament depending on the schedule of the double headers and end the tournament before May 29.
Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants are the two new franchises added to the eight-team tournament. Chennai Super Kings are the defending champions.
