The LSG pacer narrowly missed out on a five-wicket haul in the first innings, with figures of 4/88, where he accounted for Ben Duckett (0), Ollie Pope (0), and removed a well-set Harry Brook with the second new ball for 158.
But the 28-year-old didn’t miss a beat in the second innings, scalping an impressive six-wicket haul, the first-ever Indian pacer to do that. His figures of 4/88 and 6/99 combined to make up the best-ever figures for an Indian bowler in England, pipping Chetan Sharma’s 10/188.
