Nitish Kumar Reddy, the Indian all-rounder, might not have had a great time during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 or thereafter, failing miserably on India’s tour of England in the two matches that he played.Â
However, the all-rounder posted on social media on July 27 (Sunday), showcasing his loyalty to his IPL team, Sunrisers Hyderabad, saying that his connection to the team is built on trust, respect and shared passion.Â
“I tend to stay away from the noise, but some things deserve clarity. My connection with SRH is built on trust, respect, and years of shared passion.
I’ll always stand by this team. 🧡,” Reddy tweeted on his X account.Â
Though it was not in direct reference to anyone, rumours were rife that after being retained for INR 6 Cr, he was not given his favourable batting position, batting mostly at number six or seven. He even bowled only five overs, compared to the 13 that he dished out in the IPL 2024 season.Â
Due to all this, Reddy was supposedly looking to get released and find a new team in the IPL 2026 auction.
