Pat Cummins scripted history at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, on day two (June 26) of the first Test against West Indies as he became Australia’s most successful bowling captain in Test history, surpassing the late Richie Benaud.
Cummins entered the first Test with 137 wickets to his name, and needed two to surpass Benaud. He got to 138 with the wicket of Keacy Carty on day one, and set an all-time record by dismissing his counterpart Roston Chase after lunch on day two.
