The Australian team showed one of the most ruthless approaches on their tour of the West Indies. After sweeping the Test series 3-0, they went on to sweep the T20I series 5-0 as well, winning the last T20I by three wickets in Basseterre, chasing down 171 with three overs to spare.
This was not the first game where Australia looked to be in a hurry to finish this tour as they won the first T20I by chasing down 190 with seven balls to spare. In the second game, they chased down 173 with 28 balls to spare.
However, the third T20I was the most outrageous, where, thanks to a century from Tim David, the Aussies took down the challenge of a 215-run chase in just 15.1 overs. In the fourth match too, they chased down 206 without much of a fuss.
In this five-match series, playing without a few of their top players, the Australians have shown that their bench strength is immensely talented, and they will be a force to reckon with come the T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka.
