Ayush Mhatre To Lead India U19 On Australia Tour, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Included In 18-Member Squad
The India U19s had a really successful tour to England recently where they impressed in both 50-over and the multi-day games
The India Under-19 men’s team is set to tour Australia for a multiformat series featuring three One-day and two multi-day games against the Australia Under-19 side, starting with 50the first 50-over game on September 21. The multi-day games will be played from September 30 to October 7.
The Indian side will be led by Ayush Mhatre, who also captained India on the England tour recently and did so quite successfully, with the team winning the five One-day series 3-2 and then drawing the two multi-day games after being in dominant positions in them on many occasions.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who is also included on this tour to Australia, was splendid against England and was the highest scorer of the white ball series with 355 runs in just five games. Meanwhile, skipper Mhatre impressed with his batting in the red ball games, scoring 340 runs in just four innings, including a century.
