Follow UsYet again, the Mumbai Indians (MI) have assembled one of the most dangerous duos – Nicholas Pooran and Kieron Pollard – in their setup, this time in International League T20 (ILT20). The franchise announced the decision on October 29 (Wednesday), with Pollard and Pooran reuniting to don the iconic blue after their stint with MI New York.
Pooran would not be available for the entire tournament, with the left-hander also part of MI Cape Town, which overlaps with ILT20. MI Emirates already has a strong Caribbean flair, with Andre Fletcher, Ackeem Auguste and Romario Shepherd already part of the setup.
The fourth edition of ILT20 begins on December 2, with the matches held across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, with the final on January 4. Barring these big names, MI Emirates already have a star-studded roster, with Tom Banton, Chris Woakes, Jonny Bairstow and Kamindu Mendis spearheading the list.
