Bangladesh put on a clinical performance in the second T20 International (T20I) against Sri Lanka in Dambulla on July 13 (Sunday). Riding on Liton Das' 76 (50) and Shamim Hossain's 48 (27), they put on a competitive 177/7 in their 20 overs, before restricting the hosts to just 94 in 15.2 overs. Only Pathum Nissanka (32) and Dasun Shanaka (20) managed to get into double figures for Sri Lanka.
As a result, they won the match by 83 runs, their second-highest margin of victory in T20Is and the best-ever against a full-member.

In the game against Sri Lanka, Rishad Hossain spun a web around the batters to finish with 3/18. He was well supported by other bowlers, as Shoriful Islam and Mohammad Saifuddin picked up two wickets apiece.
The three-match T20I series is currently level at 1-1, as Sri Lanka won the first match in Pallekele by seven wickets. The decider will be played on July 16 (Wednesday) in Colombo.
