Following KKR players testing positive for Covid-19 in their bio-bubble, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have asked the Delhi Capitals contingent, who played against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 29, to go into quarantine. "As we had played our last game against KKR, we have been advised to go into quarantine and all of us are in isolation. We are all in our rooms," a Delhi Capitals official told Cricbuzz.
Delhi Capitals last played a match against Punjab Kings on Sunday which they won comprehensively but there is no clarity they will be allowed to practise on May 4 in Ahmedabad. "We don't have any information if that practice session will go ahead," the official said.
Delhi Capitals are scheduled to take on Kolkata Knight Riders on May 8 but now that both teams are in quarantine, a lot will depend on the test results of the coming week.
