The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has on Saturday confirmed the revised schedule for India's home series against South Africa starting on 9th June 2022.
The Proteas will be touring India for five T20I matches as part of the build-up to the upcoming T20 World Cup later this year in Australia.
While Chennai was set to host the first game, it has now been shifted to Delhi according to the revised schedule.
The next two games will now take place at Cuttack and Vizag on the 12th and 14th, respectively, followed by the last two matches at Rajkot and Bangalore on the 17th and 19th.
The decision was taken by the Board in the Apex Council meeting and was confirmed by a source close to the development in an exclusive conversation with cricket.com.
