BCCI Picks 5 Venues for Women's ODI World Cup: Reports
The World Cup is also expected to get underway from the last week of September
The BCCI has picked five venues for the ICC Women's ODI World Cup 2025, which will get underway from the last week of September, according to a report on Cricbuzz.
Indore, Visakhapatnam, Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati and Mullanpur, have reportedly been zeroed in as the venues for the mega event. Guwahati will host a World Cup game for the first time.
However, if Pakistan qualify for the World Cup, another venue could be added. This comes after an agreement between BCCI and Pakistan Criclet Board (PCB) where it was agreed that all the ICC games between the two nations - be it men or women - be played neutral venues.
Pakistan have not booked their place for the eight-team event. They will host World Cup Qualifiers at home between April 9-19. The team that finishes top two will make the World Cup.
