Corbin Bosch has had an eventful start to his Test career. In his first Test against Pakistan in December 2024, he scored an unbeaten 81 and also chipped in with four wickets in the first innings. He has once again delivered for South Africa - this time against Zimbabwe - as an all-rounder in his second Test, as he not just managed to slam his maiden ton, but has also picked up his maiden fifer in the format.
Only three other South Africans have scored a century and also picked up a fifer in the same Test. Moreover, other than Bosch only Jacques Kallis has achieved this feat in the last 115 years.

Corbin Bosch vs Zimbabwe in Bulawayo, 2025
Bosch came in at eight in the first innings and slammed an unbeaten 100 off just 124 deliveries, but went wicketless with the ball. He scored a handy 41-ball 36 in the second innings and also ended with 5/43 with the ball, making it yet another superb match for 30-year-old all-rounder.
After two Tests, Bosch now has 217 runs to his name at a staggering average of 108.50. It gets better with the ball, as his 10 wickets have come at 19.10 runs apiece.
His teammate Lhuan-dre Pretorius smashed 153 off just 160 deliveries in the first innings, and took home the Player of the Match award too. By doing so, the 19-year-old became the sixth teenager in Tests and the first South African to achieve this feat.
