CSA confirm schedule for India tour of South Africa

The tour comprises three Tests, three ODIs and four T20Is, starting December 17

Cricket South Africa (CSA) confirm the schedule for India's tour of South Africa, starting December 17. The tour will conclude with the T20I series on January 26. The tour will comprise three Tests, three ODIs and four T20Is. The Test series will be a part of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2021-23 cycle, while the 50-over series will be contested as part of the World Cup Super League.

The tour will start with the first Test at the Wanderers, where the third Test will also be played. Centurion will host Boxing Day Test. The action then shifts to Paarl for the first ODI and then the next four white-ball matches including two ODIs and two T20Is will be played in Cape Town.

The teams will then return to Paarl to play the final two T20Is. However, South Africa's summer will get underway with three ODIs against the Netherlands, which will also form part of the World Super League, between November 26 and December 1.

The Proteas will then fly to New Zealand for two Tests and three T20Is. The summer will conclude following the visit of Bangladesh, who will play three ODIs and a couple of Tests from March 18 to April 9.

South Africa Women also will be in action in the summer with West Indies Women visiting their shores for three ODIs and five T20Is in January-February 2022.

2nd Test - Dec 26-30, 2021 - SuperSport Park, Centurion

3rd Test - Jan 3-7, 2022 - Wanderers, Johannesburg

1st ODI - Jan 11, 2022 - Boland Park, Paarl

2nd ODI - Jan 14, 2022 - Newlands, Cape Town

3rd ODI - Jan 16, 2022 - Newlands, Cape Town

1st T20I - Jan 19, 2022 - Newlands, Cape Town

2nd T20I - Jan 21, 2022 - Newlands, Cape Town

3rd T20I - Jan 23, 2022 - Boland Park, Paarl

4th T20I - Jan 26, 2022 - Boland Park, Paarl
