David Miller, on April 4 (Friday), became the fourth South African to cross the 3000-run mark in the Indian Premier League.
The left-hander got to the milestone in Match 16 of the IPL 2025 between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Mumbai Indians (MI).
Miller slammed 27 off 14 against MI, and in the process, the 35-year-old went past 3000 runs in the tournament. Miller now has 3010 runs in 128 innings at an average of 36.27 and a strike rate of 139.5, studded with one century and 13 fifties.
AB de Villiers (5162), Faf du Plessis (4650) and Quinton de Kock (3260) are the other three South Africans with more than 3000 runs in the IPL.
Miller, who made his IPL debut in 2012, has scored 86 runs so far in the IPL 2025 at an average of 43 and a strike rate of 148.3.
