ECB announces venues for India Tests in 2025 and 2029

The ECB also announced the venues for the 2027 Ashes series, with The Ageas Bowl set to host its first Ashes Test.

The five-match Test series between India and England in 2025 will be played across Lord's, The Oval, Edgbaston, Headingley and Old Trafford, the England & Wales Cricket Board announced on Wednesday (June 14).

India will once again return to England in 2029, playing five more Tests across Lord's, The Oval, Edgbaston, Old Trafford and The Ageas Bowl.

The ECB also announced the venues for the 2027 Ashes series - Lord's, The Oval, Edgbaston, Trent Bridge and The Ageas Bowl. The latter is set to host its first Ashes Test.

Meanwhile, the 2031 Ashes Tests will be played at Lord's, The Oval, Emirates Old Trafford, Headingley and Trent Bridge.

In 2027, England Women will play their one-off Test against Australia at Headingley, while the one in 2031 will be played at The Ageas Bowl.

England Women will play at Lord’s during each of the seven years during this period. Meanwhile, Edgbaston will remain the home of Vitality Blast Finals Day.

"For the first time, we are announcing long-term allocations for Women's international matches as well as Men's," said Richard Gould, ECB Chief Executive Officer.

"We have seen huge growth in attendances for Women's matches in recent years, with this year's Women's Ashes smashing previous records, and we want to build further on this in the years ahead.

"By announcing arrangements for the next seven years, we are also giving venues long-term certainty so that they can invest sustainably into stadium improvements and improved fan experiences."
