Sai Sudharsan Joins Unwanted List With Duck on Test Debut vs England
The Tamil Nadu batter was caught down leg side to give Ben Stokes his first wicket
Sai Sudharsan received his maiden Test cap from Cheteshwar Pujara ahead of Day 1 of the first Test against England at Headingley. However, what followed is something he would want to forget. He was dismissed for a four-ball duck, caught down the leg side off the last ball before lunch.
Sudharsan was in excellent form in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, having scored 759 runs for Gujarat Titans (GT). He would have wanted to continue from where he left off, but he failed to get off the mark.
In doing so, he joins an unwanted list of Indian cricketers to get out for a duck in their first innings in Test cricket.
