In the form he is in, expect the Afghanistan spinner to add a few more in this game. With pacers and spinners having equal share of wickets, one cannot discount Rashid and other spinners to dominate proceedings.
Like Rashid, Mohammad Shami too has been in top form this season. In fact, his figures at home are even better than Rashid's. The pacer has 10 wickets in Ahmedabad in IPL 2023 at an average of 11.1, at a miserly economy rate of 5.6. Shami could once again be pivotal in GT's aspirations of getting a few quick wickets in the powerplay.
