From Karnataka, Himachal & Mumbai To Uttarakhand - Three Players Switch Teams

Karnataka’s Jagadeesha Suchith, Himachal Pradesh’s Prashant Chopra, and Mumbai’s Bhupen Lalwani are set to represent Uttarakhand in the upcoming domestic season, according to an ESPNcricinfo report on September 14 (Sunday). The trio will also feature in the Uttarakhand Premier League (UPL) 2025.
Suchith, a left-arm spinner and useful lower-order batter, made his debut for Karnataka in 2014 before moving to Nagaland last season. The 31-year-old has been a consistent performer in the domestic circuit, with 217 wickets and nearly 1500 runs across formats.
Chopra, an experienced top-order batter, has been with Himachal Pradesh since his debut in 2012 and brings strong credentials. The right-hander has 5093 runs at 40.74 in 81 first-class games, 4012 runs at 41.79 in 103 List A matches, and 2035 runs at 33.91 in 70 T20s.
Lalwani, who has turned out for both Mumbai and Chhattisgarh since his 2020 debut, adds further depth to Uttarakhand’s batting. The 26-year-old has 702 runs in 16 first-class matches, along with 88 runs in three List A appearances for Chhattisgarh.
