How many ICC events have Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami played together?

Team India were dealt a body blow ahead of both the England series and ICC Champions Trophy 2025, with news emerging that Jasprit Bumrah was likely to miss the entirety of February due to a swelling on his back. Should the development be true, it will mean Bumrah will miss the group stages of the Champions Trophy and, in all likelihood, the entirety of the competition.
The timing couldn’t have been worse for India, with Mohammed Shami just returning from injury. Shami has not played since the 2023 ODI World Cup Final but India have had Bumrah fit and firing since then.
But just when it felt like the team could have both Bumrah and Shami at their disposal, the former injured himself, meaning India will head into a very important ICC event with just one of the two available.
It will be the second consecutive ICC event in which India will have only one of Shami or Bumrah available. At the 2024 T20 World Cup, the Men in Blue had the services of Bumrah but not Shami.
How many ICC events have Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami played together?
Surprisingly, the duo have played quite a few ICC events together. The pair have played six ICC tournaments together, with the 2023 ODI World Cup being the most recent of the lot.

2021 World Test Championship Final
2021 T20 World Cup
2023 ODI World Cup
However, in both the 2016 WT20 and the 2017 Champions Trophy, Shami did not make a single appearance.
And in the 2019 ODI World Cup, the right-armer was not first-choice and only played the four matches which Bhuvneshwar Kumar missed.
How many ICC events have only one of Bumrah or Shami played?
Since the start of 2022, India have Bumrah and Shami available at their disposal for ONE EVENT - the ODI World Cup in 2023.
While Bumrah missed the 2022 T20 World Cup and the 2023 World Test Championship final (against Australia), Shami missed the 2024 T20 World Cup with injury. Now, it looks like Bumrah will miss the Champions Trophy while Shami will partake in it.

Overall, India have played 24 ODIs with both Bumrah and Shami in the XI and have won 15 games while losing nine.
Surprisingly, it was only in 2019 that these two played an ODI together for the first time.
