England have won the 50-over World Cup, the T20 World Cup, but are yet to put their hands on the Champions Trophy. They will hope to add the coveted trophy in their kitty in the upcoming edition.
However, things have not gone well for the Jos Buttler-led side, as they have succumbed to 16 defeats in 23 games since the 2023 ODI World Cup. Moreover, England won just three of the nine games in the mega event in India to finish seventh among the 10 teams.
NOTE: All matches will be played at 2.30 PM IST
Match 4: England vs Australia, Lahore on February 22
Match 8: England vs Afghanistan, Lahore on February 26
Match 11: England vs South Africa, Karachi on March 1
The only bone of contention is whether England would play their semi-final tie in Dubai or Lahore. If they are to face Pakistan, then the match will be held in Lahore, and if they come against India, then their tie will be played in Dubai. Semi-final 1 will be played in Dubai on March 4, while the second semi-final fixture will be held in Lahore on March 5.
While the venue for the final is yet to be announced, it is almost certain that if India qualify along with England, they will play the final in Dubai. However, if Pakistan and England progress to the finale, the match will be either held in Lahore or Karachi on March 9.
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be streamed on Hotstar (digital), and you can catch it on television on the Star Sports Network.
