Rachin Ravindra’s stellar form continued, with the left-hander scripting yet another half-century in the ongoing edition of ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The 25-year-old showed his form against Bangladesh wasn’t a one-off with a stroke-filled half-century against South Africa in Lahore on March 5 (Wednesday).
Ravindra started extremely strong, showing an array of shots against Marco Jansen with three boundaries in the same over. The left-hander first punched the ball through the off-side region for a four through the cover region before a gorgeous drive through the mid-wicket region for a four.
But he left the best to the last when he got on top of the bounce to smash the ball through the off-side region, racing off to 25 off 23. Despite the loss of Will Young at the other end, Ravindra kept up his momentum, taking on Wian Mulder with four boundaries in three overs to get to his half-century.
