ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026: List Of Teams That Have Qualified

The Netherlands and Italy became the 14th and 15th teams to qualify for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, which will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. But who are the other teams that will take part in the 20-team World Cup event next year?
> As co-hosts, India and Sri Lanka have already qualified for the World Cup.
> Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, South Africa, USA and the West Indies also qualify as they made it to the Super 8s of the previous edition in 2024, co-hosted by the USA and West Indies
> Despite not making it to the Super 8s in the T20 World Cup 2024, Ireland, New Zealand, and Pakistan also qualify for the 2026 edition as they were the next three best-ranked teams in the ICC T20I rankings, as on June 30, 2024.
> Canada, who played for the first time in 2024, progress to the next edition as they won the T20 World Cup Americas Regional Final, which they hosted in June 2025.
> As mentioned above, Italy qualified for the T20 World Cup for the very first time as they finished top two, along with the Netherlands, in the Europe Qualifiers, hosted by the Dutch.
With 15 teams having already booked their place, there are five more places up for grabs. How will they be decided?
They will also be determined by the regional qualifiers.
> Two teams from the African Qualifiers, which will be hosted by Zimbabwe between September 19 and October 4, will make it through to the T20 World Cup. The Africa Qualifiers include Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
> The remaining three teams will be from the Asia-East Asia Pacific (EAP) Qualifiers, slated to be held in Oman between October 8 and 17. For the first time, Asia and EAP teams will be part of the same qualifiers, and as a result, three teams from there will make it to the World Cup from there.
The nine participating teams include: Malaysia, Qatar, UAE, Japan, Kuwait, Nepal, Oman, PNG and Samoa.
