The race to the Women's T20 World Cup 2026 in England and Wales will speed up in Asia, as all the teams not already part of either the global qualifiers or the main tournament itself, will participate in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier, 2025, which will begin on May 9 in Thailand.
Apart from the hosts, there are eight other teams, making it a nine-team tournament, from where the top two will qualify for the next round, which is the global qualifiers.
Nine teams have been divided into three groups of three teams each. Each team will play the other once in a round-robin format. Each group topper will then move to Super 3 and play each other once. The top two from Super 3 will move to the Global Qualifier, which will be held later on.
