The Indian U19 Women will once again be looking to win the ICC Women’s U19 World Cup, which is being held in the T20 format in Malaysia. After crushing every opposition they met in the tournament, they’ll now face England in the semifinal on Friday, January 31.
G Trisha recently lit up the tournament by becoming its first centurion when she scored 110 off just 59 deliveries against Scotland, and also became the leading run scorer with 230 runs.
India have defeated hosts Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh so far in their journey apart from Scotland.
Meanwhile, England would be looking to keep the Indian bowling lineup quiet. The spinners, along with pacer Joshitha VJ and Shabnam Shakil, have been a lot to deal with for most teams that faced the Indian women. England themselves have had to win a few must-win encounters en route to the top four, and they’ll hope to control the Indian juggernaut.
Venue, Date and Time
The match will be played on January 31 at the Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur and will start at 12 noon IST.
Live streaming, score and telecast
The match will be telecasted on Star Sports Network, and people can also stream it on Disney Plus Hotstar.
