David Warner is currently playing in the Big Bash League (BBL) 2024-25, leading Sydney Thunder in the tournament. However, he is also due to lead the Dubai Capitals in the International League T20 (ILT20) 2024-25. With the two tournaments coinciding, Warner will miss a few matches in the ILT20.

The earliest Warner could play in the ILT20 is against Desert Vipers on January 20, given that the Thunder will play the last group stage game on January 17.
The BBL final is scheduled to be played on January 27. If Warner were to play in that, he could feature in the ILT20 on February 2 against the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders on February 2.
Of course, Warner could play in the ILT20 anywhere between the two dates mentioned above, depending on how his team Sydney Thunder fares. If ST crash out in the knockout stage or the Challenger, Warner could be available in the ILT20 for Dubai's game against Abu Dhabi Knight Riders on January 26.
ILT20 2024 finalists Dubai Capitals got off to a victorious start in ILT20 2025, winning a thriller against MI Emirates by just one run.
