Pakistan make seven changes for West Indies Tests

Imam-ul-Haq, Muhammad Hurraira and Sajid Khan, among those who have been picked for the home series

Pakistan have made seven changes to the team that were whitewashed in South Africa for the two-match Test series against West Indies, starting on January 17 in Multan.

Imam-ul-Haq, Muhammad Hurraira, Sajid Khan, Abrar Ahmed, Mohammad Ali, Kashif Ali and Rohail Nazir have all been picked for the home series.

Saim Ayub misses out due to an injury, while Abdullah Shafique has been left out because of his poor form. Mohammad Abbas, who had an impressive comeback series in South Africa, is also not part of the squad.

Apart from him, Aamer Jamal, Mir Hamza and Naseem Shah have also been left out due to ‘workload management’.

Wicketkeeper-batter Haseebullah Khan, who sustained an injury during the South Africa series, has been replaced by Nazir.

Both Tests will be played at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
