IND vs ENG Edgbaston Weather: Will It Rain At Edgbaston On Day 3?
Will the weather allow India to continue their domination? Will it rain at Edgbaston?
After a competitive day one which left the game in the balance, India enjoyed the best possible day two as they had a flawless outing which put them in pole position in this Test. First, they posted 587 with the bat in hand, thanks to a record-breaking 269 from their skipper Shubman Gill.
The decision to load the side with lower-order batters paid off as India frustrated the English bowlers and broke them down session by session. Then, they took three wickets with the ball in hand to take full control of the Test. England are 77/3 at stumps and India are firm favourites to level the series.
The big question is, can India carry the momentum and edge closer to victory on day three? Will the weather allow them to continue their domination? Will it rain at Edgbaston?
Will it rain at Edgbaston on Day 3?
We haven’t had a single drop of rain at Edgbaston so far in this Test, and this pattern is set to continue tomorrow. So yes, good news for fans of India and England too.
There is rain expected but only post 7 PM. There’s a 7% chance of rain between 2 PM to 6 PM but it’s very unlikely to actually rain during this period. We can expect some cloudy periods but the sun is likely to be out for the most part.
That should be good news for England, as the conditions will be good for batting. However, the conditions were good for batting today as well, and England still made a meal out of it.
