India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is set to return for Saurashtra for the second round of the Ranji Trophy 2025-2026, according to a report on Cricbuzz. Saurashtra take on Madhya Pradesh in the next round in Rajkot, starting October 25 (Saturday).
"He is expected to play in the next match," a Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) official told Cricbuzz.
Saurashtra drew their first game against Karnataka, but took a slender four-run first-innings lead. The last time Jadeja played in the Ranji Trophy was least season against Assam. He was the best performer against Delhi, against whom he picked up 12 wickets in the match and scored a vital 38 as well.
He has played 47 Ranji matches for Saurashtra, scoring 3,456 runs at 57.60. Moreover, he also has 208 wickets at 21.25.
Jadeja has not been picked for the ODIs against Australia and has already retired from T20Is. Playing in the Ranji Trophy is his way of staying match-fit ahead of the Test series against South Africa, starting November 14.
