India’s triumph over Windies has now helped them race past England for the top spot in the latest ICC T20I rankings, with a top rating of 269. While England and India both have the same rating across 39 international matches in the rankings period (269), India’s total of 10,484 points is 10 more than England's 10,474.
Pakistan (266), New Zealand (255) and South Africa (253) remain on the top five teams in the shortest format, with the World champions Australia still lingering at sixth place, with a rating of 249, despite a 4-1 crushing of Sri Lanka at home.Â
