India’s new T20 World Cup cycle (2024-26) is set to begin with a five-match series against Zimbabwe in July. From then till the start of the T20 World Cup 2026, the Men in Blue are slated to play 34 T20Is.
According to ICC's Future Tour Programme (FTP)'s schedule, India will take on Sri Lanka in a three-match T20I series in July before facing Bangladesh in a similar arrangement at home. Between that and their next series, India are also set to travel to South Africa, where they will play a four-match T20I series, which isn't part of the FTP but was announced by Cricket South Africa (CSA).
Later, in January 2025, India will face England in a five-match T20I series at home. With the Champions Trophy scheduled for February and the Indian Premier League from March to June, India’s next series will have to wait until August 2025, when they take on Bangladesh yet again in a three-match T20I away series.
In October 2025, India are set to tour Australia for a five-match T20I series before completing the long schedule with two five-match series against South Africa (November 2025) and New Zealand (January 2026) at home.
