Six-time Women's Asia Cup champions India will begin their 2022 campaign against Sri Lanka on October 1 in Sylhet, Bangladesh. The Sylhet International Cricket Stadium and Sylhet Outer Cricket Stadium will host all the matches set to be played from October 1 to 15.
Alongside India and Sri Lanka, defending champions Bangladesh, UAE, Thailand, Malaysia and Pakistan are the other participants in the tournament which will be played round-robin format.
Top-four teams will qualify for the semifinals on October 13. All the matches will be played in T20 format.

India, who will finish their tour of England on September 24, are likely to travel on Bangladesh on September 27 or 28 for the preparations.
The Women's Asia Cup has been played every two years in the T20 format since 2012.
