Follow UsEngland’s tour of India will now move to its ODI leg and the first match will be played on February 6th (Thursday) at the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) in Jamtha, Nagpur.
Since England have already announced their playing 11 for the match, it is now up to India to plan accordingly and come up with the 11 that will beat the English team. India have already won the T20I series 4-1 even as the series consisted of several close matches which could have gone either way.
Whether India go in with Mohammed Shami, given his fragile fitness and just two T20Is in his kitty as international match experience in the last 16 months, is yet to be seen.
Similarly, who between KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant will get the wicketkeeper’s slot is also a pertinent question that head coach Gautam Gambhir and the team management would have to answer.
