India vs Pakistan In Hong Kong Sixes As Dinesh Karthik To Lead Men In Blue
The two sides can play potentially twice, once at the group stage and once in the final
It is going to be an India vs Pakistan clash once again, and we are not sure whether they will shake hands this time or not. But believe it or not, ever since the Asia Cup, as much as people have been hoping to avoid India-Pakistan matches, they are coming to the fore with even greater force.
Just as a controversial Asia Cup came to an end with both teams taking on each other thrice, India and Pakistan Women will face each other in the Women’s World Cup 2025 on October 5 in Colombo.
And the latest news is that both India and Pakistan will be competing at the Hong Kong Sixes 2025 tournament, beginning November 7. The 3-day extravaganza of cricket, played by six players a-side and in six-over an innings format, will see India and Pakistan being drafted in the same group at the initial stage.
The two sides can play potentially twice, once in the group stages and once in the final. Dinesh Karthik will lead the Indian team, which will also feature Ravichandran Ashwin. This will be the second time that Karthik will be leading India, having previously done so in 2011.
A total of 12 teams will be taking part in the 21st edition of the tournament. Sri Lanka are the defending champions and Pakistan have won the tournament the maximum number of times – 5.
