Punjab Kings (PBKS) defended the lowest total in the Indian Premier League (IPL) history after they beat Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in match 31 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 by 16 runs, having scored 111 in their innings on April 15 (Tuesday) at the Maharaja Yadvinder Singh Stadium in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh.
After the end of match 31 in IPL 2025, the Gujarat Titans (GT) remained at the top of the IPL 2025 Points Table with four wins in six games. Delhi Capitals (DC) at the second position, also have the same number of points in just five games, but their net run rate is below GT.
After the historic win against KKR, Punjab moved to fourth position in the table behind Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), with eight points to its name after a fourth win in their seventh game. LSG, at the fifth spot, also has eight points.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK), despite winning their second game and ending a five-match losing streak, are at the bottom of the points table.
