3 Players Who Have Won IPL Titles With At Least 2 Teams
Are there players who have won the IPL with three teams?
Many players have lit up the Indian Premier League (IPL), but only a few have gone on to claim the title. However, a few have won the tournament on multiple occasions and with two or more teams.
We take a look at three such players:
Karn Sharma
Karn Sharma is perhaps the only player in IPL history to win the tournament with THREE different teams. In 2016, he was part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) unit that won their maiden title. The following year, he turned up for Mumbai Indians (MI) - picking up 13 wickets in nine matches.
Then, Karn moved to Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who won their fourth title. He was also part of the Men in Yellow in 2023 when the MS Dhoni-led side lifted the trophy again.
Rohit Sharma
Rohit Sharma is the most successful player in IPL history, along with Ambati Rayudu, who have won the title on six occasions.
Rohit started off his IPL career with Deccan Chargers, who won the tournament in 2009 in South Africa. He then led MI to five titles in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020.
Harbhajan Singh
Harbhajan Singh has won the IPL on four occasions. Between 2013 and 2017, he won three titles with MI, and in 2018, he picked up seven wickets for CSK to help them win yet another title.
Overall, Harbhajan finished his career with exactly 150 IPL wickets at an economy rate of a shade over seven.
