The International Cricket Council (ICC) have revealed the officials for the 2025 World Test Championship (WTC) Final between Australia and South Africa at Lord’s, and India’s Nitin Menon will be making his WTC Final debut, having been appointed fourth umpire for the clash.
England’s Richard Kettleborough, who has officiated in the finals of several marquee ICC events, most recently the Champions Trophy 2025 Final, has been appointed the TV Umpire for the clash.
Chris Gaffaney of New Zealand and England’s Richard Illingworth have been appointed the on-field umpires for the Final.
The final will take place at the Lord’s Cricket Ground in London from June 11 to June 15.
Australia are the defending WTC champions, and will be looking to become the first team in history to win the WTC Mace in consecutive cycles. South Africa, meanwhile, are aiming to win their first major ICC title this century. The Proteas’ only major trophy win came back in 1998 when they won the ICC Knockout Cup.
